Work with Me – the Autism Page

Autism blogger

Hi, I’m Jade a 40 year old married mum of two boys (8 & 7 ).  Both my boys are autistic and I blog about supporting them here at The Autism Page. I am based in Keynsham (between Bristol & Bath) in the UK. The purpose of this website is to provide helpful information and resources about autism.

I share information about autism supports that can be used at home such as Attention Autism, Picture Exchange Communication (PECS) and TEACCH.  The Autism Page also provides support for related paperwork such as Education, Health and Care Plans and Disability Living Allowance

I feel strongly about the benefits of sharing information.  My background is researching and sharing factual information, so I am putting those skills to use here.

My followers are parents of young autistic children and professionals working in special educational needs. In December 2018 I moved and re-branded my blog from About ASD to the Autism Page.

I also work for Bristol Autism Support as the Parent Support & Training Manager

Testimonials

“Tiimo, we worked with Jade for over one year and developed a fantastic media partnership. Jade’s breadth of knowledge, commitment to supporting her children and others, as well as her deeply researched sharing of resources means an incredibly specific and engaged community. Some unexpected results of the partnership were great suggestions for improvements in our app. It has been an absolute delight and we look forward to working together in the future”

“We’re always aiming to make Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park as accessible as possible, so we’re thrilled to have worked with Jade to create an downloadable Autism-friendly booklet. We hope that those planning to visit the Park will take advantage of the detail within it and be able to use it to maximise their enjoyment during their visit to us”
