Do you remember Lite Brite? Well it is back and great for some sensory fine motor fun. Basic Toys gifted me a Lite Brite in exchange for this honest review. All words and opinions are my own.
I am always on the look out for toys that have a sensory aspect for the boys so I was keen to try out the Lite Brite. Simply use the coloured pegs to create your art / patterns then light it up.

Fine motor skills
I love anything that helps develop fine motor skills that is engaging for the boys. They are not big on writing practice so anything that is developing those muscles is a plus. The pegs are small but not too fiddly and both the boys (6 &8) were able to use them easily. My eldest was straight in there when I got it out and he decided to create a rainbow, he loves repetitive play so this is really calming for him too.

You can bring your creation to life with four different light modes – blinking, pulsing, steady and random. My son loved taking it under his covers to see how his art looked in the dark.

I know we will get lots of use out of it as it gets colder and we are spending more time inside. The Lite Brite is available on amazon currently for £16.99. What art would you create on the Lite Brite?
